Bambusa started with a desire to contribute to athletes in Norway. We wanted to make it possible for young people to realize projects through "dugnad".

Håvard Gundersen's daughter came home one day and told him that her cheerleading club needed funds. Håvard then came up with an idea to offer ankle socks made of bamboo viscose - a material that gives a fantastic feeling of quality.

The socks became so popular that it wasn't long before other clubs also wanted to sell them. Today, the socks are a favorite in the drawer of many here in Norway.
